Update: 1st Community WOD at the new gym
Saturday’s Community Workout at the new gym was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who showed up to spend their Saturday evening with us getting fit and having some fun. The WOD consisted of 3 rounds of 50 wall ball shots/15 burpees/40 box jumps/15 burpees/30 pullups/15 burpees. The WOD was performed in teams of 3 with only 1 person working on each movement at any given time. Even the pullups were done as a team, with team members assisting their teammates by lifting them up over the bar if necessary. I must admit this part of the workout was really fun to watch.
After the WOD, we hung out for a while, listened to music, and enjoyed some food. The night concluded with some monkeying around on the new pullup system. Roberto had the idea to use the row of rings to swing back and forth from ring to ring, literally like a monkey would do. Of course, everyone had to try it for themselves. I can tell we will be having a lot of fun with those pullup bars later. I’ll post some videos soon of footage from that craziness.

Community WOD at the New Gym
