Angie’s Back!

Fran – Miguel Garza from Miguel Garza on Vimeo.

G7′s co-founder, Mike Garza, has been training for Sectionals, which will take place March 13th-14th in Austin.  Mike currently lives in Austin and is in his second semester at UT Law School.  When he is not studying, Mike has been spending much of his time training at CrossFit Austin under the coaching of Wes Kimball.  We are very proud of Mike and everything he has been able to accomplish with a lot of hard work and dedication.  Check out the video above of Mike completing “Fran” in 2:30, improving his time by almost 1 full minute.  Great job, Mike!  We can’t wait to see how you will do at Sectionals!

Good Job 5:30a.m. class. Nancy and Linda outstanding times. Connie, I’ve been really impressed how your pullups have evolved in such a short time (50 connecting kipping pullups new PR). Way to bring it a.m. classes.

    • Connie says:

Thanks Javi! This workout had me a little scared but I finished it 17:57 Yay!

That’s a great time, Connie!! Last time I did this workout I did not finish in the 30 minute cutoff time. I am going to do better today. Gotta be positive!

You’re welcome Linda P. You all were scared but got through it. Connie walked in asking if it was a team workout haha…you all achieved something greater than just an increase in physical strength and that makes me really happy as a coach.

Wow! Today’s workout was definitely a tough one. I have to admit I was intimidated when I saw what it consisted of and felt a little nervous about whether or not I’d be able to complete it. My arms and legs were dEAd in the end, but I”m happy to say that I finished in 21:32! :)
